How we handle your personal information when your agency onboards to platforms, products and services provided by Government Technology Platforms (GTP).

Who we are
Your information is being collected by Government Technology Platforms, part of Digital NSW (a division within NSW Department of Customer Service).
Why we collect information
We collect your personal information for the purposes of:
- Onboarding your Agency to GTP products and services
- Providing ongoing support to your Agency in respect of GTP products and services.
The kinds of information we collect
We may collect the following information:
- Name
- NSW government email address/telephone number
- Role within the business
- Which Agency you work for.
Provision of your information is voluntary. However, if you fail to provide some or all of the information requested, we may be unable to do business with your agency in a timely manner.
How we collect information
Generally, we collect personal information directly from our interactions with you over the phone, over the internet, in person, or in writing when you submit a form or update your details or information.
How we use information
We may use the information we collect:
- To contact you in relation to your agency’s relationship with GTP
- To administer, or otherwise deliver, our obligations arising from the relationship entered into by your agency/GTP
- For other directly related purposes.
Who we share information with
We will not disclose your information to anybody else, except:
- As outlined in this Notice
- As outlined in our Privacy Statement
- When you have given your consent
- Where we are authorised to do so by law.
How long we keep information for
We will only keep information for as long as we need it to fulfil the purposes we collected it for. After which, the information will be disposed of securely in accordance with the State Records Act 1998, and any other applicable legislation.
How we keep information secure
We maintain a Privacy Management Plan, which outlines how we comply with NSW privacy laws, and the measures we have in place to help protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, use, modification, disclosure, or other misuse.
