The primary aim of the Data Centre Reform (DCR) Program was the migration of infrastructure assets from Local Health Districts and NSW Health (Ministry and Health Entities) data centres into the Government Data Centres (GovDC).
The Statewide Data Centre Reform Program (SwDCR) Program extended the migration of eHealth data centre assets to the GovDC (undertaken in the original DCR Program) to the remainder of NSW Health data centre assets (including Local Health Districts and Health Entities – LHDs / HEs) utilising cloud hosting (public and private) and as-a-service products wherever possible. The program was completed on the 31 December 2023.
