In a situation as unprecedented as COVID-19, our customers want access to accurate information that is updated as the situation evolves. Although COVID-19 is a global pandemic, NSW Government understands that concern is often local, and that our customers want information about their local area.
The COVID-19 Heat map shows confirmed COVID-19 cases and number of people tested, by postcode, in an interactive map that is available to the public and updated daily. Customers can quickly view the data and see how these numbers have changed over time.
Information on active cases and the number of people recently tested is also presented. This allows customers to understand the current situation and see any impact of easing of restrictions on the spread of COVID-19 in the community.
Customers can analyse the data for their own postcode or that of their family and friends. This has helped customers stay informed and protect themselves, their families and the community, particularly those at higher risk.
