Due to COVID-19, students and teachers want access to a streamlined and seamless learning environment. We’ve launched HSC Hub to support students and teachers preparing for the 2020 HSC exams.
The HSC Hub contains high quality, on-demand resources for NSW public school students to help them prepare for their exams. The hub is a carefully curated digital central repository for learning resources created by NSW Education, alongside third-party material. The hub has enabled teachers to select relevant digital content aligned to NSW syllabuses, and share it with their students.
Providing access for all students has been a priority during the learning from home period. We’ve worked with schools across NSW to provide devices and internet dongles to Year 12 HSC students (where required). This has resulted in more students across NSW accessing the resources available at HSC Hub.
The hub has enabled students from across the state to access subject expertise from other schools seamlessly. It also had resulted in quality content being made available to both rural and metropolitan communities. Since launching at the end of Term 2 more than 26,000 users have viewed over 180,000 pages within the first six weeks of launch.
