In the past, a printed log book was available for learner drivers in NSW. With the online learner’s drivers log book applications, it is now much easier to track your driving hours while learning to drive and submit the log book online.
This idea was delivered through the Learner Driver Log Book Innovation Challenge held by Transport for NSW. Three solutions – L2P, Roundtrip & Licence Ready were chosen to be part of the incubation program to assist them in creating the safest and most secure logbook. They were later launched to the public, and officially endorsed by Transport for NSW and Roads & Maritime Services.
These applications use GPS, weather and traffic data to accurately track your driving, thereby improving accuracy for the customers. The applications also offer safety features such as auto-disable when the car is in motion. This helps the learner drivers stay safe while they work towards their learning and development goals.
