Just four weeks ago we launched buy.nsw a new platform simplifying procurement, starting with cloud. Here's a quick update on how far we've come in our first month of operation.
We have 30 approved sellers so far
We're pleased to announce that we have approved our very first sellers â there are now 30 approved suppliers of cloud applications, infrastructure and hosting available on buy.nsw. Some of our sellers are also offering cloud products, there are now 21 cloud products available to buy.nsw buyers.
Plus, there are more seller applications in progress, so more cloud sellers and their products will be appearing soon.
We also have 44 approved buyers
Now that we have sellers on board, we're approving buyer applications. So far we have 44 buyers from more than 20 different government agencies. It's a good start, but there's room to grow with more than 200 eligible NSW Government agencies and more than 2000 community groups registered through ProcurePoint who are eligible to use buy.nsw.
We're now looking forward to the very first purchase
All the elements are now in place for buyers and sellers to be able to connect and do business. We're looking forward to the first purchase taking place.
